    We are seeking an individual contributor UX researcher to partner with Product and Design teams on Square for Retail. You will span across many different surfaces throughout the Square product ecosystem, from Retail Point of Sale, our public facing website, our manager tools, and other product areas across Retail and internal teams. However, the work doesn't stop with our software and we strive to put ourselves in the shoes of our customers to find innovative new ways to help them run their business.

    UX research plays an essential part in every step of our design and product development process. As a senior UX researcher, you will provide an unbiased look into qualitative and quantitative data to help guide decisions and next steps. You will design research plans that gather evidence ensuring our product decisions are made with insight from our customers, mitigate risk, and ultimately guide our design and product decisions to the best solution.

    **You will:**

    Attend team meetings, design reviews, and other avenues to identify and drive opportunities for us to learn and make better decisions

    Design, coordinate, and source participants for user research projects

    Summarize and present relevant insights to a variety of partners

    **Qualifications**

    **You have:**

    At least (7) years of relevant professional experience

    Understand strengths and weaknesses of different research methods, including when and how to apply them and examples of use of these different methods

    Have excellent survey design and analysis skills

    Experience with the whole product lifecycle from early stage to launch and beyond

    Experience evaluating and testing digital and physical products
