    Description

    Overview:
    Description of Position: The Supplier Specialist is responsible maintaining up-to-date and accurate supplier information in the companys Supplier Management and Procure-to-Pay systems

    Primary Job Responsibilities:
    Monitor and complete requests for additions or changes to the supplier database to ensure timely and appropriate activations, de-activations, and changesProvide follow up and technical assistance to external suppliers and internal usersReview supplier database to ensure data integrity and compliance including updated certificates of insurances and contractsImplement processes to improve efficiency and accuracy across multiple systemsDevelop reporting to present metrics to managementManage projects as needed under the direction of Manager

    Qualifications Mandatory:
    High school diplomaExcellent data entry and quality assurance skillsFollows detailed instructionsMaintains confidentialityExcellent writing and grammar skills, ability to write concisely, clearly, and logicallyAbility to hear and answer questions perceptivelyIntermediate proficiency in MS Excel

    Qualifications Preferred:
    Bachelors degree4-6 years Supplier Management experienceExperience supporting programs related to change management initiativesAdvanced proficiency in MS Excel
