    About the Role:

    As an Operations Research Analyst supporting our Federal government client, you will play a critical role in providing analytical and strategic insights to manage the operations of its customer-facing Contact Center infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting research, providing insights, and documenting critical strategic plans and initiatives toward updating, upgrading, and elevating services for geographically distributed call centers in CONUS. Specifically, a successful Operations Research Analyst will create strategy and policy regarding the capabilities of the call center inclusive of design considerations, performance metrics, automation support, requirements gathering, strategic plan support, and independent verification and validation of existing plans. The role will require a self-starter, comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced team setting.

    Key Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

    • Develop and implement operations research models and techniques for solving complex operational problems
    • Use statistical analysis techniques to create models and forecasts
    • Analyze operational data and develop efficient and cost-effective solutions
    • Develop and implement optimized operational strategies and procedures
    • Monitor operational performance and provide feedback on results
    • Prepare and present reports on operational performance and results
    • Assist in the creation of performance metrics
    • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to identify a roadmap and high-level plan to support the future Concept of Operations
    • Identify performance trends based on metrics analyses and recommend areas for operational efficiencies and cost savings
    • Review strategic plans
    • Contribute to the creation of new strategy and policy

    Required Experience/Skills:

    • A Bachelor's degree and 10 years of relevant professional experience.
    • Proficiency in the application of advanced statistical techniques
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Experience in strategic planning, operational research, and statistical analysis
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
    • Ability to pass a public trust clearance.
    • U.S. Citizenship or Lawful Permanent Resident

    Preferred Experience/Skills:

    • Knowledge of contact center operations and related technologies
    • Previous experience supporting the IRS
