As part of this expertise, the chair is currently expanding its research activities in the area of finance and management in sports.

Under the leadership of Prof. Dr.

Henning Zülch, the newly established HHL Sportsspace will bring together various teaching and research activities in the field of professional sports, with a focus on finance, organization, and strategic development of sports companies and associations.

The HHL Sportsspace is committed to close collaboration with renowned partners from academia and practice.

Responsibilities:

In an excellent combination of practical work and your own academic career, you will develop relevant research topics with a focus on sports management (e.g. finance, communication, capital procurement, management quality, professionalization of institutions) and make a significant contribution to current trend topics at the intersection of sports science, management, and finance.
You will be involved in advising and further developing clubs, sports companies, and associations.
You will participate in current research projects and contribute to the creation of practiceoriented publications for renowned professional journals. In addition, you will support teaching activities.

Qualifications:

You have completed a degree in economics or sports science with a focus on relevant subjects with aboveaverage results.
You have good knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods.
You are a strong communicator and dedicated team player with a passion
