As the steward of Product Technology, they will be building the products and features that will differentiate OTR from our competitors and ensure that we continue to provide value and delight to our customers.
They will be collaborating with the Digital Channel to define, plan, and implement these market game-changers while removing the impediments to their successful realization.
These market-driven solutions will span our authorization system and a myriad of processes/services that provide functionality and value to our customers.
How you'll make an impactEssential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for providing guidance aligned with the provided architectural guidelines in the pursuit of customer-focused solutionsResponsible for ensuring alignment and accountability for adhering to expected coding practices/patterns, product quality, and development testing expectationsResponsible for enforcing automated testing requirements and ensuring they are metResponsible for actively seeking growth and mentoring opportunities for team members to evolve and leverage their talents and strengthsExperience you'll bring8+ years of development experience3+ years of leadership experienceSuperb oral and written communication skillsExpertise in: C/C++, Perl, Python, Shell Scripting (preference given)

Server/Daemon development experience with an emphasis on web/microservicesLarge batch processing for efficiency and fault toleranceFunctional and object-oriented design/development experienceEnd-to-end development experienceSAFe and/or Agile methodologiesThe base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position.
Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role.
Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan.
