POSITION SUMMARY:
Coordinates, oversees, and delivers patient care system-wide using an interdisciplinary approach, utilizing the nursing process including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.# Directs and provides patient teaching activities.# Maintains standards of professional nursing practices.# Documents complete and accurate patient information in compliance with Patient Services Department policy and other regulatory agency requirements.#
Participates in continuous quality improvement activities and educational experiences in support of departmental and divisional nursing philosophy and objectives, as well as Health System initiatives.
# Coordinates family involvement in assessment and treatment of the patient.##EDUCATION/TRAINING:
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
Current RN licensure to practice in the State of Illinois and required certification for respective nursing departments.# Bi-annual CPR certification required.
Specialty certification in area of concentration preferred.Non-Invasive Cardiology:
# CPR certification required within 90 days of hire.# ACLS required within one year of hire.
Cath Lab:

Emergency Department:
