Overview
Job Summary The Registered Nurse is a clinical practitioner who coordinates and implements patient care specific to the age of the patient population served on the assigned units.
S/he demonstrates performance consistent with the mission, philosophy and goals of the unit and organization; remains flexible to changing systems; is expected to demonstrate quality in work habits and clinical practice; and treats staff, physicians, patients and families with consideration and respect.
Coordinates unit activities.In the absence of the Nurse Manager is in charge of the unit and is responsible for smooth running of the unit in accordance with the policies of Medical Center of Peach County.
Education, Training, and Experience Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Other Job Requirements, Licenses, Certifications Current Georgia state licensure as a Registered Nurse. Current BLS required within 30 days of hire.
