    Job Description:

    Join our team as a Service Desk Technician at OMES and enjoy:

    Job details:

    • Full-time position with 40-hour work weeks
    • Support the Information Services Division
    • Potential salary of up to $43,250 depending on qualifications

    Responsibilities:

    • Act as a single point of contact for customer issues, requests, and questions
    • Analyze customer needs and implement appropriate solutions
    • Provide technical support and document solutions
    • Identify trends and assist in training team members
    • Adapt to changes and fast-paced environments

    Physical Demands and Work Environment:

    This role involves working in a comfortable office setting, primarily using a computer and telephone. The position requires prolonged periods of sitting and working at a desk, with occasional travel and the possibility of night or weekend work.

    Minimum qualifications:

    • Associate degree in an IT-related field and 1 year of technical support experience, or 2 years in a technical customer support role
    • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
    • Knowledge of support procedures and service management tools
    • Basic understanding of business applications
    • Ability to resolve complex problems efficiently
    • Willingness to work varying hours if needed
    • Familiarity with ITIL methodology is a plus
