    Description

    Summary

    Eligibilities being considered and other IMPORTANT information.

    The primary purpose of this position is: Serve as the Department of the Air Force security subject matter expert on all Personnel Security programs, to include the systems that support those programs, and provides execution guidance to all Major and Field Commands.

    Duties

  • Responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing Personnel Security program execution across the Major Commands, Field Operating Agencies.
  • Advises DAF Senior leadership to include, Secretariat, Air Staff, HQ Space Staff, MAJCOM, USSF, DRU, and FOA and associated agencies leadership, personnel, and management on current and developmental Personnel Security Systems (DISS, NBIS, SWFT, e-APP, NP2 Portal, e-Interview).
  • Collaborates with DCSA, the CAF, USSF and MAJCOMs to ensure timely submission of investigations and incident reports, alerts, and responses to support, enhance, and protect the Department of the Air Force mission and personnel.
  • Support Continuous Evaluation/Vetting and Counter Insider Threat Program Managers overseeing, administering, enforcing, planning, and organizing operational functions of the Department of the Air Force, and United States Space Force.
