    Description

    About the Position

    We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant with strong knowledge of ASC 842 compliance to join our dynamic team. Your main role will involve overseeing lease accounting processes to ensure compliance with ASC 842 standards. This includes managing lease data, financial reporting, and ensuring adherence to lease accounting regulations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead implementation and compliance efforts for ASC 842 lease accounting standards.
    • Manage lease agreements in line with ASC 842 requirements.
    • Collaborate with various teams to collect lease data and determine appropriate accounting treatment.
    • Develop and enforce lease accounting policies and procedures for consistent compliance.
    • Review lease agreements regularly to ensure accuracy of data.
    • Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements for lease accounting activities.
    • Assist in creating lease accounting disclosures for external financial reporting.
    • Keep abreast of changes in lease accounting standards, providing guidance to stakeholders.
    • Support audit processes related to lease accounting internally and externally.
    • Provide training to finance and accounting teams on ASC 842 requirements.
