    Job Description
    • Performs broad range of administrative and clerical support tasks of a nature, that require initiative and judgment to make independent decisions.
    • Responsible for all Sponsor/CRO site visits and teleconferences for START San Antonio and other START Global sites when applicable. This includes, but is not limited to coordinating/confirming the visit date, preparing and finalizing agendas, sending out calendar invite for all attendees, confirming IT and room set-up, order food, clean-up, corresponding with visitors, and being available to assist and oversee the visits as needed.
    • Assist with all START Global monthly Teams and Operations teleconferences. This includes, but is not limited to scheduling the Zoom meetings, sending out calendar invites for all attendees, confirming IT and room set-up, and maintaining/distributing meeting minutes
    • Responsible for ordering and maintaining marketing material for all START global sites (business cards, letterhead, etc.)
    • Responsible for FedEx shipments of equipment and supplies/materials sent to all START Global sites
    • Responsible for START Research updates to the website and social media for all START Global sites. This includes, but is not limited to drafting blurbs, identifying appropriate images, and coordinating with the appropriate START site for review and approval of content
    • Assist with Protocol Review and Development Committee meetings at START San Antonio. This includes but is not limited to logging new studies into the database, distributing the study protocol, sending out calendar invite for all attendees, and sending comments to the Sponsor/CRO and START Global sites when applicable.
    • Facilitate the completion of all Sponsor/CRO required site questionnaires at START San Antonio and ensuring the questionnaire are completed accurately and in a timely manner
    • Assist with all new STUDY and new SITE start-up activities at START San Antonio and START Global sites, when applicable
    • Attend administrative meetings, weekly Protocol Review and Development Committee meetings, quarterly SOP meetings, Pre-Study Site Visits, and Site Initiation Visits at START San Antonio as needed
    • Maintain quarterly SOP meeting minutes and distributed to the SOP committee
    • Assist with audit preparation and review for START San Antonio and START Global sites, when applicable
    • Assist with special projects as assigned. This includes, but is not limited to, conducting research, preparing presentations and documents as requested
    • Assist with facility tours as needed
    • Organize and maintain filing systems; maintains records related to specific area of assignment.
    • Serve as the back-up for the Executive Assistant to the START San Antonio research investigators
    • Perform additional duties as assigned

    Educational Requirements:

    High school diploma or equivalent.

    Experience Requirements:

    At least two years experience in administrative setting. Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Word. Strong organizational skills and a sense of timeliness in completing projects; detail-oriented. Good spelling, composition and proofreading skills (medical terminology a plus, but not required). Must be able to complete tasks with minimal supervision and have ability to understand instructions, compose reports and correspondence.
