    Description

    POSITION SUMMARY

    Provides for the overall support of fundraising events, outreach events and other initiatives led by the Marketing & Development team.

    The position will also lead volunteer engagement, in-kind clothing and food drives, as well as a referral contact network to support the mission of the organization.

    EDUCATION/TRAINING EXPERIENCE
    Bachelor's degree in applicable field preferred
    Two years related experience and/or training in event planning
    Advanced skills in computer applications
    Excellent writing and speaking skills
    Organized, detail oriented, ability to manage multiple projects, works well with deadlines, self-starter and can work independently when needed

    JOB SPECIFIC ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

    • Establish relationships with referral partners
    • Coordinate annual Big Give and United Way campaign, working with internal customers, as appropriate
    • Coordinate in-kind drives, as well as the annual Giving Tree events
    • Provide event logistical support for annual fundraising and awareness events
    • Maintain CRM/database records and provide reports
    • Represent Clarity Child Guidance Center at various outreach events
    • Manage volunteers, to include individual, corporate and student organizations
    • Assist with all Marketing and Development initiatives as needed
