    Description


    Provide ILS services to PMW 150, CBD or other programs and projects listed above which includes Logistics Management, Logistics Engineering, Software Management, and Manpower, Personnel, and Training.

    Provide integrated support with the competency, capacity, capability and experience to provide the full range of support services required by this PWS.


    Supporting C2 capabilities for Navy, Marine Corps, Joint, and Coalition warfighters.


    Programs and projects consists of:
    JEM, JWARN, CBRN IS, JACKS, GCCS-M, MTC2, NAOC2, Link 16 Network, TTNT, LMMT


    Training Specialist


    Depending on the size, goals, and nature of the organization, trainers may differ considerably in their responsibilities and in the methods they use.

    Training methods include on-the-job training, operating schools that duplicate shop conditions for trainees prior to putting them on the shop floor, apprenticeship training, classroom training, and electronic learning, multimedia programs, distance learning, satellite training, other computer-aided instructional technologies, videos, simulators, conferences, and workshops.

    Training specialists conduct and supervise training and development programs for employees and external customers. Planning and program development is an important part of the training specialist's job. In order to identify and assess training needs, trainers research all problems.

    The goal of training is to help employees develop new skills and enhance productivity while improving the quality of work.

    Training specialists set up teaching materials and lesson plans prior to the class. They also involve the class and issue completion certificates at the end of the class. Training specialists must plan, organize, and direct a wide range of training activities. Trainers respond to corporate and worker service requests. They consult with onsite supervisors regarding available performance improvement services. In government-supported training programs, training specialists function as case managers. They first assess the training needs of clients and then guide them through the most appropriate training method.

    Requirements

    1)
    Training Specialist I, Have an understanding of CBRN information systems and programs. Familiarity with CBRN doctrine, CONOPS, and TTPs. Prior professional CBRN training experience preferred. Bachelor's level degree in Education, Psychology or related Training and 3 years professional experience in curriculum development.

    2)
    Training Specialist II, 5 of 7 years of demonstrated experience in DoD systems training analysis, planning, curriculum development, and coordination of training installations with 3 of 7 years of training CBRN information systems and programs. Bachelor's level degree in Education, Psychology or related Training and 7 years professional experience in curriculum development.

    3)
    Training Specialist III, 5 of the 10 years of experience in direct CBRN and Emergency Management. CBRN experience shall be with one or more of the following C2 systems (GCCS- M, CPOF, C2PC, JTCW, BCSS). Master's level degree in Education, Psychology or related Training and 10 years professional experience in curriculum development.
