- Act as a strategic thought partner to the VP, offering insights, recommendations, and constructive feedback to shape the commercial team's direction and priorities
- Foster cross-functional collaboration and communication, ensuring the VP's message is well understood by key stakeholders
- Establish and maintain administrative systems for efficient decision-making, prompt follow-up, and smooth execution of the VP's priorities
- Design and implement organizational structures and processes that nurture a high-performance culture, empowering team members toward peak performance
- Lead the planning and execution of strategic initiatives, both internal and external, maintaining alignment with the VP's vision and the company's overall objectives

- Salary range: $100,000-$160,000/year

Woodinville, WA - Full Time – Hybrid
Modern Hydrogen is looking for a highly motivated and organized Chief of Staff to boost the efficiency and impact of our commercial team. Reporting directly to the VP of Business Development & Governmental Affairs, you'll act as a strategic thought partner and proxy for the VP, steering key initiatives, overseeing critical projects, and ensuring smooth execution of the VP's priorities across the team. Your main goal is to establish scalable processes, promote cross-functional alignment, and lead organizational development initiatives to maximize productivity and speed up our growth.
This role is hybrid. The Chief of Staff will need to work on-site at our Woodinville, WA facility 3+ days a week, be available around the clock, travel 5-10 days a month, and join quarterly company events in Seattle.
Modern Hydrogen, a Seattle-based cleantech startup, converts natural gas into clean hydrogen at the source. With substantial venture capital raised, we aim to recruit top talent to accelerate our impact in decarbonizing challenging sectors of the economy.
