    Core Design, Inc. is a respected Land Surveying, Land Planning, and Civil Engineering firm with 70 years of service to the residential, commercial, and municipal communities of Puget Sound. As an employee of Core Design, you will work with some of the most experienced and highly educated staff in the region, who strive to grow and promote staff from within.

    We are currently looking for a talented Survey Party Chief to help build our team. This position is full-time, 40 hours per week, and in-person.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Work as lead Party Chief of a field crew team in boundary, topographic, and construction survey on single and multi-family residential projects throughout the Puget Sound region
    • Operate or direct the operation of Leica, Topcon and Carlson instruments and data collectors
    • Perform field calculations on boundary and construction projects
    • Work in all weather and topographic conditions
    • Become an important member of the Core Design team
    • Have the opportunity for career advancement

    Required Background and Skills:

    • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Party Chief performing construction staking, boundary, ALTA, and topographic surveys
    • Good working knowledge of robotic total stations, GNSS, survey calculations, and data collectors
    • Valid driver's license required
    • Must be authorized to work in the United States
