    Inside Sales Manager - Construction Equipment - Future Career Prospects - Full Training Given

    This is an excellent opportunity for someone with inside sales experience or someone looking to get into the world of sales to join an excellent Construction equipment provider in Macon, Georgia.

    You will learn how the branch is run, interact with customers that visit but also work with the outside sales account managers and their customers, making sure they are happy and learning a s you go. The future of this position will see you develop and then move into an outside sales position for the business.

    POSITION SUMMARY: The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for managing new, used, and rental equipment readiness and sourcing. This position will assist Account Managers to ensure CRM quoting is complete, attachments sourced, logistics quoted, and agreements processed. Market knowledge and competitive data benchmarking is required. This position serves as the Columbia-based contact for walk-in customers.

    FLSA STATUS: The U.S. Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) requires employers to classify their employees as being either exempt or non-exempt for the purpose of being paid overtime wages. The essential duties of this job are such that the employee is classified according to the FLSA as a Non-exempt employee.

    TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Minimal up to 10%.

    RESPONSIBILITIES: Satisfactorily performing and/or achieving the following Responsibilities are essential duties of the job.

    • rental equipment for Georgia market.
    • and manages rental agreements.
    • availability of Ga rental and used fleet.
    • Account Managers with quotes to improve customer response time.
    • profit targets are met on equipment sales and rentals.
    • a lead management process for Georgia.
    • market data (EDA, market reports, etc.) and utilize this information to prospect and make cold calls.
    • market competitive data with management.
    • and maintains strong relationships with vendors and contacts in all regions and in the corporate office.
    • as inside sales contact for walk-in customers.
    • positively to other duties that may be assigned in the scope of the job.
    • formal and informal performance assessments, including performance versus expectations.
    • participates in required training, development programs, and electives as suits one's needs.

    EXPERIENCE/COMPETENCIES/PROFICIENCIES – Satisfactorily achieving and/or meeting the following Experience, Competencies, and Proficiencies that are essential duties of the job:
