    _As a __*Territory Sales Representative*_ _with Southern States Toyotalift you will travel and work within your assigned territory to identify potential new customers as well as pursue further business with current customers by offering the full array of Southern States Material Handling warehouse solutions.

    You will use your skills to acquire new business by designing, presenting, and negotiating new customer solutions with a leading focus on "new" equipment and solutions.

    *What you Need/Basic Qualifications:
    • Must be willing to travel within assigned local regional territory up to 90%
    • Possess excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office products
    • Ability to plan and successfully explain various financing options to customers
    • Must have demonstratable understanding of customers' key business needs
    • Must possess excellent oral presentation skills as well as strong written, and interpersonal communication skills
    • Commitment to excellent customer service
    • Possess high self-motivation and persistency to overcomes obstacles
    • Possess exceptional organizational, planning, and prioritizing skills
    • Knowledge of industrial powered equipment and the material handling industry a plus
    • Able to work efficiently with minimal guidance or supervision
    *Education and Certification Needed:
    • High School diploma or GED
    • Some college preferred
    • Preferred two years' selling experience with demonstrated expertise in acquiring new business
    *What you'll Do:
    • Travel up to 90% within your assigned local territory Mon- Friday dayshift
    • Gain a working knowledge of Southern States and Material Handling's equipment lines and services- _Propane, diesel and electric powered forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, swing reaches, side loaders, sweepers, warehouse racking systems, automation and other products and services._
    • Identify business opportunities at customer locations and make suggestions to customers about SSMH's products and services-with a focus on new equipment
    • Analyze market potential and trends, determine areas where Toyota/Raymond market share is weak and initiate action to improve market penetration amongst non-Toyota/Raymond users.
    • Build and maintain successful long-term relationships with new and current customers through in person and virtual communications
    • Develop creative and tailored client proposals by working to identify customer pain points to provide warehouse solutions
    • Present solutions and information effectively to improve material handling systems driving client decisions
    • Negotiate effectively; clearly communicate goals, interests, and positions during customer discussions
    • Create various financing options / terms to help a customer confidently agree to payment for the new solutions purchased
    • Communicate with management regarding all pertinent activities of customer accounts to keep them abreast of all phases of account relationship progress
    • Meet and track sales targets aligned with company objectives
    • Work closely with respective Regional Solutions Manager, Solutions Consultant and GM on account planning and pricing decisions

    $45, $65,000.00 per year
