Erica Looker of Edison, Ohio, has been promoted from her previous role of administrative assistant to operations coordinator for Ohio Farm Bureau.
In her new role, she will be providing administrative support to the organizations Strategic Partnerships Department, as well as continuing to provide critical support to the Communications Department, and chief information officer.
Additionally, Looker will be managing the organizations fleet program.Looker was raised in a family of farmers and currently lives on a small livestock operation with her husband, Heath, and two daughters, Olivia and Olesia, where they raise pigs and sheep.
Growing up, Looker was active in 4-H and FFA.Prior to joining Ohio Farm Bureau in April 2023, Looker spent more than 20 years in the health care industry, starting as medical assistant and ascending to practice management.

Farm Bureau involvement has taught me how to grow my professional and leadership experience outside of the workforce and how to do that in a community-centric way.
With not growing up on a farm, Id say I was a late bloomer to agriculture. I feel so fortunate that I found the agriculture industry. There are so many opportunities for growth.Knowing that horticulture is under the agriculture umbrella and having Farm Bureau supporting horticulture like it does the rest of ag is very important.
If it wasn't for Farm Bureau, I personally, along with many others, would not have had the opportunity to meet with our representatives face to face in Washington.
So many of the issues that OFBF and its members are advocating for are important to all Ohioans.
