Position Overview:


We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Service Manager to join our team and oversee the service department of our yacht dealership.

The Service Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest level of satisfaction for our clients by managing all aspects of service and maintenance operations.


Key Responsibilities:


Service Department Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of service technicians, coordinators, and support staff.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase department efficiency and productivity.
  • Oversee scheduling and workload distribution to meet service deadlines and client expectations.
  • Maintain a safe and compliant work environment in accordance with industry standards and regulations.

Maintenance and Repairs:

  • Coordinate and supervise all aspects of yacht maintenance, repairs, and refits.
  • Work with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure timely completion of service requests and projects.
  • Conduct quality assurance inspections to uphold the highest standards of craftsmanship and attention to detail.
  • Manage service budgets, track expenses, and identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding service inquiries, updates, and resolutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through proactive communication and exceptional service delivery.
  • Address client concerns and resolve issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell additional services and cultivate repeat business.

Process Improvement and Innovation:

  • Continuously assess existing service processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement innovative solutions to enhance service delivery, streamline workflows, and drive operational excellence.
  • Identify industry trends, technology advancements, and best practices to remain competitive and innovative in the market.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in marine service management or a similar role within the marine industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of maritime systems, maintenance procedures, and repair techniques.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently under pressure.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
Compensation based on qualifications and experience.


Pay:
$55, $70,000.00 per year
