Ensure Departmental compliance with safety policies and procedures.
Coordinates workflow for the team so they are accurately scheduled for production and fulfillment.
May Lead various positions in the Receiving, Picking, Reboxing, and Shipping areas.
Train and coach new employees, including temporary employees, on department work instructions, processes. procedures and policies.
Provide training/cross

- training in equipment and process operations as needed.

May act as the "go to" person when assistance with procedures, equipment, or information is required.
Review processes for improvement, assist with implementation, and maintain as directed by the manager.
Perform and direct all shipping tasks, following approved work instructions and established departmental and /or customer procedures involved with packing and shipping product under mínimal supervisor.
Transport materials, parts, supplies and equipment as well as packing and shipping product throughout the facility.
Ensure shipping supplies, boxes, bubble wrap, tape, etc., are in stock, inform manager to reorder levels.
Verify physical counts to shipping documentation to assure accuracy prior to shipping.
Prepare and maintain records of operations as required.
Coordinate, clarify and prioritize shipping and receiving functions.
Inspect outgoing shipments for damage and correct labeling
Generates packing slips, bill of ladings, invoices, shipper's letter of instructions, shipper's Export Declaration or other required documentation used to ship product via approved carriers.
Professionally interacts with internal customers, Sales, Planning, Operations, and external customers, carriers, customers.
Route shipments in a costeffective manner to meet customer specifications and achieve daily shipping requirements.
Oversee compliance of practices and maintain an orderly and safe warehouse and shipping area.
Develop and maintain a good working relationship and open lines of communication with all departments to ensure Department, Company, and Customer goals are achieved.
All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Good understanding of inventory management
Strong problemsolving skills
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
Willingness to learn & adapt
Strong math, reading and writing skills
Computer proficient and able to use company ERP systems
Forklift certification
Physical ability to stand for long periods of time
Physical ability to lift 20 to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally with twoperson lift.

25 years of warehouse experience

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS (any specific physical attributes or limiting factors to be accounted for):

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will spend a large majority of time walking, standing and using hands to push/pull.

The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch.

The employee is required to lift and /or move up to 20 to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally with two-person lift.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee may be exposed to hot or cold temperatures, outside weather conditions and risk of electrical shock. The employee may be exposed to high, precarious places, fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
