    Facility Security Officer with Security Clearance - Anchorage, United States - Anonymous Employer

    As our FSO, you'll oversee all classified areas/operations/information systems and classified and controlled unclassified information/material while ensuring compliance with applicable government and company policies and procedures.


    Key Responsibilities:

    Compliance Management:

    • Demonstrate proficiency in 32 CFR Part 117/NISPOM and maintain working knowledge of NISS, DISS, NBIS, and SWFT.
    • Accomplish required internal security self-inspections and Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA)/Customer Security Assessments.
    • Prepare and maintain prime and subcontract DD254s.
    • Ensure satisfactory or higher ratings for annual performance audits conducted by DCSA/Customers.

    Oversight and Administration:

    • Manage Security administrative actions such as personnel clearance processing and visitor control.
    • Assist in the development of various education & training materials, administer security indoctrinations and debriefings, and accomplish/maintain appropriate records.
    • Conduct internal security investigations, coordinate and submit reports to external agencies when required.

    Security Incident Management:

    • Investigate security incidents, document appropriately, and recommend corrective actions as well as potential disciplinary actions.
    • Ensure program/security management is involved in reportable actions.
    • Optionally assist in obtaining and maintaining SCIF accreditation while ensuring compliance with SCI security requirements.

    Stakeholder Liaison:

    • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to align security program with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
    • Develop and maintain emergency response plans, including procedures for evacuation, lockdown, and coordination with local law enforcement and emergency services.
    • Stay informed of security threats, trends, and technologies to continuously improve facility security posture.

    Corporate Facility Management:

    • Plan and execute corporate facility posture in collaboration with Leadership Team to identify classified facility needs based on growth expectations. Based on business needs, recommend classified facility options and execute facility growth plan (e.g. lease, buy, build) for classified location(s).
    • Manage and maintain Trusted Space security profile, including processing annual corporate certification requirements (Self Inspection, KMP, Insider Threat, OPSEC, etc.), update and maintain facility clearance information (SF-328s, DD-441, DD-254s), monitor annual personnel training requirements, security incidents, and others.
    o Develop, maintain, and update company policies and procedures according to 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM) and contract requirements.

    Security Policy and Procedure Implementation:
    Create, maintain, and execute security policies and procedures to include but not limited to:
    o Ensure Insider Threat Program is up to date with requirements and train employees.
    o Provide security inputs to Export Control policies and act as liaison for Export Control actions and inquiries.


    • Assist employees with initiation, maintaining, crossing-over, and terminating personnel clearance.
    • Conduct security clearance indoctrination briefings and debriefings.
    • Complete security screens for prospective employees.
    • Process visit authorization requests (VARs) in a timely manner in Defense Industrial Security System (DISS) or customer-identified systems/processes

    Training and Proposal Support:

    • Promote a culture of security awareness through regular training sessions and ensure that employees understand their roles and responsibilities in maintaining security compliance.
    • Collaborate with Business Development, Capture Management, and Program Execution teams to develop and update compliant proposal security volumes and contract data requirements list (CDRL) documentation related to security items (e.g. OPSEC Plan, Program Protection Implementation Plan, etc.).
    • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    To be fully considered, you must have:

    • TS
    • Bachelor's degree or higher in Criminal Justice, Business Administration, or related field. In lieu of degree, additional relevant experience may be considered.
    • 5+ years of experience in facility security administration and management.

    Knowledge and experience with:
    o DoD and IC customer workflows
    o 32 CFR Part 117/NISPOM
    o Insider Threat Program
    o Annual performance audits conducted by DCSA/Customers
    o NATO briefings
    o DISS, NISS, and NBIS

    o OPSEC procedures Compensation & Benefits:
    Our salary range is $120,000 - $160,000 per year.
