    Manufacturing Technology Specialist- Beverage BatchingThe Manufacturing Technology Specialist II learns the design and delivery of a wide variety of technical and team initiatives to address skills and development for employees within Niagara.

    Job Description

    Essential Functions

    Training Delivery

    • Deliver beverage batching training to team members in Niagara's Cold Fill, Carbonated Soft Drink, Hotfill and Aseptic facilities
    • Conduct pre/post training assessments
    • Provide on the job support and coaching to plant team members through validation training and assessments

    Instructional Design

    • Manage the development of instructor-led courses and ongoing support materials
    • Ensure training materials are in line with overall training strategy and approach
    • Works with the Content Coordinator to create assigned end user training documentation and ongoing support material, according to defined standards
    • Provides a final technical review of all eLearning courseware
    • Supports periodic training needs assessment to ensure training needs are being met
    • Work with Vendors to create written documentation and operating job aids on new industry equipment
    • Collaborate with other Technical Services groups to write, or work with vendors to develop, written and demonstration-based Skills Assessments to determine baseline knowledge of all Niagara Mfg Technical personnel
    • Teach equipment-specific root-cause troubleshooting methods
    • Lead in the curriculum design for training programs, activities including instructor led, online, and alternative. This person will assist in the responsibilities of the team for developing and writing content, both traditional and e-learning training and materials

    Project Management

    • Communicate effectively with training stakeholders and plant management regarding scheduling, training needs and learner outcomes
    • Work cross functionally with Operational Excellence training teams to understand plant start-up needs and importance of training alignment
    • Participate in data collection and project tracking to align with team KPIs
    • Travel: 75%

    Qualifications

    • Minimum Qualifications:
      • 2 Years – Experience in business analysis or adult learning theory or similar manufacturing environment
      • 2 Years – Experience in Position
      • 0 Years – Experience managing people/projects

    • Preferred Qualifications:
      • 4 Years– Experience in Field or similar manufacturing environment
      • 4 Years – Experience working in Position
      • 2 Years – Experience managing people/projects

    Education

    • Minimum Required:
      • Bachelor's Degree in related field pertaining to manufacturing.
    • Preferred:
      • Master's Degree in business, education or related field.

    Certification/License:

    • Required: N/A
    • Preferred: ATD Certified

    Foreign Language

    • Required: None Required
    • Preferred: Elementary Proficiency
      • Spanish

    Typical Compensation Range

    Pay Rate Type: Salary$67, $97,393.00 / Yearly
