Requirements:


  • Experience: 1+ years of experience in Shipping/Receiving or in Food/Beverage Manufacturing
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Languages: Bilingual, English and Spanish, is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as D365 (preferred)
  • Basic skills in Microsoft Office Suite (preferred)
  • Available to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends & holidays Bilingual-English/Spanish (preferred)


The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for performing and assisting during daily spot checks/cycle counts, data entry, maintaining inventory integrity, and recording physical inventory on warehouse maps.

The Inventory Coordinator is also responsible for counting the inventory of production packaging materials, finished product, and pallets.

The Inventory Coordinator must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and maintain the expected work pace and meet minimum productivity guidelines set by GT's Living Foods.

While reporting to the Inventory Supervisor and Management, this position works under mínimal supervision and must work closely with other departments.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Use RF scanner to complete systematic transactions, including tracking inventory, date, and time of loading/unloading in cooler, and location of pallets in ERP/D36
  • Communicate and address concerns and issues.
  • Able to communicate effectively both written and verbally.
  • Cycle count raw materials, packaging materials, finished goods, and nonconforming materials daily.
  • Utilize Manual cycle counts process on all materials.
  • Utilize excel software to process cycle counts, review onhand inventory, current activity, and past activity.
  • Ensure materials are in proper locations. Conducts searches to locate misclassified inventory.
  • Verify inventory in trailers and scan product license plates, ensuring product license plates have the correct dates and quantities.
  • Resolve discrepancies between systematic inventory and physical counts.
  • Ensure all safety rules are strictly observed.
  • Maintain neat, clean and orderly warehouse appearance.
  • Adhere to all company policies and safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Ensure proper and fulltime use of PPE.
  • Conform to all quality and safety procedures.
  • Comfortable in working in cold (30°) and warm (80°) temperatures.
  • Occasional climbing in and out of trailers with no step ladders.
  • Use of an RF Gun needed to perform daily tasks.
  • Use of own vehicle to occasionally travel to and from our different facilities. Mileage reimbursed.
  • Flexible to work on Weekends and/or Working Saturday and Sunday for Mid-Year / Year-End Inventory.
  • Flexible to work changing schedules depending on required work.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:


  • Ability to problemsolve and escalate issues to the appropriate party.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to accurately enter data.
  • Organizational skills with the ability to prioritize the workload of assignments with department priorities.
  • Demonstrates teamwork as well as the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic multiply, divide, add and subtract.
  • Experience operating pallet jack and forklift would be a plus.

  • Constant standing and walking around the warehouse area and trailer yards to perform spot checks/cycle counts of inventory
  • Frequent crouching/bending/stooping to locate finished product
  • Occasional ascending/descending of stairs and climbing to get into refrigerated trailers
  • Occasional overhead reaching, pulling, and lifting lbs.) to open/close trailer doors
  • Occasional work near moving mechanical parts and exposure to electrical equipment (forklifts)
  • Occasionally requires work to be performed in a hot/humid environment (8090F) (fermentation area)
  • Occasionally requires work to be performed in a cold storage environment (3040F) (coolers)
