Job DescriptionThe Corporate Controller is responsible for providing day-to-day leadership for the Company's dynamic Accounting and Finance operation, establishing and maintaining an adequate system of accounting records and related control environment, and managing financial reporting requirements in accordance with GAAP.
Job Duties and Skills
Responsible for the oversight, preparation, analysis and distribution of the company's complex financial statements, managing the monthly, quarterly and annual accounting closing processes for numerous revenue generating business units and variance analysis to ensure accurate, timely and relevant financial reporting.
Serve as the critical link that binds finance to the entire senior management team, good communicator and the ability to grasp the entire business, not just ins and outs of your own department. Strong leadership skills, interpersonal skills, and ability to lead a team of 15.
Manage companies' financial department, by overseeing accounting teams, advise executives on financial manners, assist with budgets and ensure all accounting functions run smoothly.
Oversee the organization's daily accounting operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, cost accounting, inventory accounting, revenue recognition, journal entries, account reconciliations, and accruals.
Protect company assets by establishing, monitoring and enforcing internal controls. Conduct internal audits as well as participate in the yearly external financial statement audit by providing requested schedules and other requests as made by the external audit team.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly supervises employees in the accounting Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree in accounting or relevant major.
Five or more years demonstrated success and related experience with a company generating at least $100 million in annual revenues.
Experience collaborating directly with auditors, external advisor, lawyers, bankers, and Board of Directors.
Language Skills
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively to groups of customers, employees of the organization or bankers and auditors.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Sage, Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, Adobe, and Outlook.
