    Scope


    The Corporate Controller is responsible for the company's accounting policies, primary liaison with lending institutions and auditors, treasury management chief, external reporting savant, and will be developed into a top-notch CFO.

    You will frequently interact with the Chief Legal Counsel and SVP of Marketing to support them with new company wide initiatives.


    Working under the leadership and development of a first-class mentor CFO, you will be hands on with the preparation of financial reports, management reporting, and building best in class accounting procedures for a timely month-end close.

    The current close time is 5 days and with a few minor tweaks getting it to 4 days within 12 months is attainable.

    Successfully develop your team, develop a futur3e controller as you ascend to Vice President of Finance & Accounting. Continually uplift, develop, and coach your team and successful monetization of your equity position will all be ensured.

    Job Details:
    Provide strategic and overall leadership for the finance and accounting team.

    Leads the accounting group to drive the vision, strategy, tactics and execution while managing the effectiveness, integrity, accuracy and timeliness of all accounting and external reporting functions and cross-functional collaboration across the Company.

    Along with tenured team members the Controller will ensure reporting is in compliance with company and any government reporting requirements including Prevailing Wage, FAR, DCAA, etc.

    Team up with Corporate Development team on due diligence and integration work on acquisitions, strategic dispositions, and tactical tuck-in purchases.

    Liaison with Commercial Finance, Marketing, Operations, Global Finance, Tax Firm, and External Auditors.

    Work closely with all members to plan for and execute efficient and effective monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes. Drive adherence to financial controls and forecasting accuracy.
    Manage month-end and quarter-end financial reporting and close calendars ensuring timely and accurate completion.

    Support and guide accounting operations leadership as they will manage the blocking & tackling, trial balance, general ledger, and all aging schedules.

    Develop and prepare the monthly management reporting package
    Prioritization of tasks while providing active coaching to a team of talented individuals.

    What we're looking for:
    ERP Experience such as NetSuite, MS Dynamics 365, Acumatica, SAP, Oracle, MS Business Central or Intacct all a plus
    Experience with Microsoft Office, with proficiency in Excel
    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
    Manufacturing, construction, engineering, custom produced products or projects
