Our comprehensive line of products includes: pipe couplings, plain-end fittings, valves, cast and malleable iron fittings, forged steel fittings, steel pipe nipples and couplings, pipe hangers and hardware, channel and strut fittings, mining and oil field fittings, and much more.

    ASC is looking for an Inside Sales Representative (ISR) who will be responsible for proactively engaging with prospective and existing customers to drive sales and revenue growth. This individual will play a key role in promoting our products, providing excellent customer service, and building strong relationships to meet and exceed sales targets.

    The incumbent will have assigned accounts within a specified geography and will be responsible for growing revenue within the assigned accounts. The accounts have various degrees of maturity ranging from new (where establishing new relationships is required) to existing long term multi-year relationships. Each account will require unique coverage and offer varying levels of opportunity for revenue growth and personal connection/relationship building.

    How You Will Help:

    Sales Generation:

  • Proactively reach out to prospective customers via phone, email, and other communication channels to promote our products and services.
  • Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products or solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Execute territory and account plans to maximize the territories potential.
  • Follow up on leads and inquiries to convert them into sales opportunities.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers, offering product recommendations and technical assistance as needed
  • Sales Support and Coordination:

  • Help to resolve customer issues through communication with various functions in the organization to ensure that customers receive timely issue resolution
  • Work closely with the outside sales team and other internal departments to support sales efforts and ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and order information in the CRM system.
  • Market Research and Analysis:

  • Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Gather feedback from customers regarding product satisfaction, pricing, and service quality to inform sales and marketing strategies.
  • Performance Tracking and Reporting:

  • Monitor sales performance metrics, including revenue targets, conversion rates, and customer satisfaction scores.
  • Generate sales reports and analyze data to track progress, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvement.
  • What You Will Bring:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred).
  • Proven experience in inside sales or customer service, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a passion for achieving sales targets and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
