    AdventHealth Rocky Mountain Region
    is seeking an
    Epileptology Program Medical Director

    to join its Neurology Team in Denver, CO The AdventHealth Epilepsy program comprises a comprehensive multidisciplinary team of providers including epileptologists, neuropsychologists, neuroradiologists and a functionally trained neurosurgeon as well as an epilepsy coordinator and navigator.

    Our epilepsy providers work in a hybrid model of hospitalist and ambulatory services, spending their time both on the epilepsy monitoring unit (EMU) and with patients in the clinic.

    We are seeking a physician who will model and lead excellence in clinical practice, doctor-patient relationships, and professionalism while maintaining AdventHealths Mission, Vision, Values.


    About our Program:
    Our epilepsy monitoring unit is 4-bed NAEC accredited, Level 3 unit which is poised to be Level 4.

    Our vision is to continue to improve access for people with epilepsy and pair them with a compassionate team of providers.

    The program is lead by a Co-Medical Director.

    We are located centrally in Denver and are part of the AdventHealth System, one of the nations largest hospital systems.


    Qualified Candidate:
    Epilepsy fellowship-trained
    Board certified/board eligible
    2-5 years of experience
    Experience in the management of surgical epilepsy
    EEG skill set desired
    Prior experience with the administrative management of an epilepsy program preferred (this is 0.2 FTE admin and 0.8 FTE clinical role)
    Can work collaboratively with an existing multidisciplinary team to optimize care for patients and support a growing program
    Desires a collaborative work environment
    Committed to program growth and a positive and innovative team culture
