- Coordinate and review the work of the staff accounting team
- Review monthly journal entries and account analysis for accuracy
- Compose month-over-month market variance explanations
- Interact effectively with various internal and external stakeholders
- Review monthly balance sheet account reconciliations
- Review and approve requests for Provider payments
- Mentor and lead a team of accountants
- Provide technical trainings for your team
- Meet department deadlines with professionalism
- Build and maintain relationships with peers, field teams, and hospital teams
- Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement
- Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree in Accounting or a related business field
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience with supervisory experience
- Proven critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong communication skills
- A task-oriented individual who can take initiative and ownership
