    • Senior Accountant

      Location: 2000 Health Park Dr. Brentwood, TN 37027

      Schedule: Must be willing to work in office 3 days a week (remotely on Mondays and Fridays)

      About the Role:

      We are searching for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of contract administration, supporting management with operational reporting, and holding responsibility for financial statements used by leadership.

      Responsibilities:
    • Coordinate and review the work of the staff accounting team
    • Review monthly journal entries and account analysis for accuracy
    • Compose month-over-month market variance explanations
    • Interact effectively with various internal and external stakeholders
    • Review monthly balance sheet account reconciliations
    • Review and approve requests for Provider payments
    • Mentor and lead a team of accountants
    • Provide technical trainings for your team
    • Meet department deadlines with professionalism
    • Build and maintain relationships with peers, field teams, and hospital teams
    • Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement
    • Ideal Candidate:
    • Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree in Accounting or a related business field
    • 5 years of progressive accounting experience with supervisory experience
    • Proven critical thinking and problem-solving skills
    • Self-starter with a strong work ethic
    • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong communication skills
    • A task-oriented individual who can take initiative and ownership
