- Coordinates the timely release, pick, invoice, and track functions of sales order line items. Prepares all necessary documentation for the efficient movement of international shipments through the Materials group.
- Create and analyze Available to Ship reports and authorize release of finished goods from stockroom.
- Review Hold codes and investigate internally what needs to be done to remove the Hold.
- Act as a liaison between Sales, Accounting, Planning and Materials departments.
- Prepare necessary documentation for international shipments such as export documentation, invoicing and packing slips.
- Coordinate transportation for international shipping, scheduling pick-ups.
- Complete data entry of order number and tracking numbers into company Enterprise system.
- Coordinate with Production Planning out of sequence releases and substitutions. Comply with all special handling requirements as specified.
- Document packages accurately and/or label as required for each shipment.
- Provide shipping status to internal departments as needed.
- Participate in physical inventories as needed.
- Perform special projects for Material Control Manager as required.

Schedule: 8:00AM– 4:30PM (M-F)
Summary: Supervise and coordinate activities of workers concerned with processing sales orders for domestic and international shipments; and the receiving and processing of sales orders for shipment by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, other duties may be assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly supervise 5 -9 associates in the Materials group. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training associates; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining associates; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
The successful Materials Supervisor candidate will possess:
Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or
four to five years related experience and/or training.
Two years related experience (International Shipping preferred)
Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
