    Description

    PySpark is the Python API for Apache Spark , the world's most popular data and ML framework You will launch features and will engage with the Spark community and our Developer Relations team.

    You will impact how Open Source Spark users and Databricks customers process petabytes of data every day and make it simpler for them to draw value from their data.

    This role requires coordinating all product activities from vision to implementation, including engaging customers to understand their needs, developing long-term product strategy, defining product roadmaps, working with engineering to build those products, and coordinating with various internal stakeholders (both pre- and post-launch) to ensure product success.

    Drive launches with product marketing through blog posts, release notes, webinars

    Drive the prioritization and development of features, measurably making it simpler and more cost effective for customers to govern and process petabytes of data.

    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar field

    ~ Strong data analysis and operationalization skills (SQL & Python, rollups, building operational dashboards)

    ~ The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location.
