The Financial Analyst will support the FP&A function within the Centers of Excellence (CoE) in various aspects of analysis and planning, including short-term and interim forecasts, three-year strategic plans, operational analysis, and project management.
This is a
hybrid role that can be based in our Deerfield, IL or North Olmsted, OH offices.
You will work in the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays while having the ability to work from home on Mondays and Fridays.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Prepare analytical reviews of monthly CoE results, forecasts, annual budgets, and three-year strategic plans.
Coordinate the preparation of monthly financial forecast submissions, ensuring the timeliness and accuracy of the consolidated results.
Collaborate with corporate functions and CoE finance teams to develop and enhance driver-based planning and forecasting tools, as well as overall FP&A process improvements.
Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports and analysis for FP&A and the CoE leadership team.Provide business decision support by developing financial models for various scenarios and evaluating the financial impact of each scenario through discounted cash flow analysis.
Conduct ad hoc data analysis by creating customized Excel tools and performing advanced Excel modeling.Responsible for special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
2+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or related field.
Proven strong analytical and problem-solving skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Familiarity with Excel, PowerPoint, SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC), Tableau Desktop, Qliksense
Experience in Building Products or CPG is preferred
