Responsible for managing, mentoring, and developing controls engineers and panel builders.Develop and manage accurate and competitive project cost estimates from conceptual design through completion.
Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and other documents to develop cost estimates.
Responsible for working with multiple departments from concept through release phase, with accountability for project execution.
Provide technical support to external and internal customers.
Perform electrical hardware and software design of customized solutions based on engineering principles.
Monitor project workflow and support resources to ensure timely delivery of projects.
Excellent customer communication, leadership, and teamwork skillsAs needed, travel to customer sites for installation and startup support of custom machinery and automationQualifications:
Requires a bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent professional experience, Bachelor of Science in Electrical EngineeringMinimum 10-years of controls experience plus management experience with increasing responsibility and dutiesStrong knowledge of control and electrical system design and its application in automated industrial systemsExceptional communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross functional teams.
Proficient with MS Office applicationsProficient with AutoCADProficient with current and legacy PLC and HMI platforms, including but not limited to, Allen Bradley and SiemensTechnical aptitude and understanding of industrial equipment and machinery.
