A key Z Firm client is seeking a Margin Analyst to work with our various trading, credit, and finance groups.
The successful candidate will have strong analytical and communication skills along with an understanding of Credit Support Annex (CSA) agreements.
We are seeking a self-starter who can work independently and within a team environment with exceptional interpersonal skills.In the Margin Analyst role, the incumbent will perform duties related to the Margin and Collateral Management processing of both physical and financial commodity transactions
These duties include:
generating, delivering, and follow up on outbound margin call letters; responding to inbound margin call letters, managing the movement and accurate reporting of cash and SBLC; reconciling portfolios to resolve margin disputes; calculating interest on cash collateral; and the publication of various levels of metric and escalation reports to senior management.
Roles and Responsibilities:
·
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with use of multiple trade capture systems.
·
Coordinate and communicate with traders, mid-office, credit, trade finance, and other corporate stakeholders to facilitate and finalize margin call directives.
Handle necessary responses, amendments and/or updates to margin calls.
·
Experience in the Credit or Margin and Collateral Management fields directly related to commodity trading.
·
Good working knowledge of Openlink ENDUR is a plus.
·
Understanding of Operational Control Framework
·
Familiarization with the various Master Agreements and Credit Support documents commonly used in the commodities industry, including, but not limited to ISDA, NAESB, EEI, and others, is a plus.
Computer skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel required.
