  • We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst who will leverage analytical tools to drive improvements in pricing, forecasting, sales opportunity conversion, and inventory health. This role involves identifying and prioritizing opportunities to leverage LoneStar's data for driving business solutions. Responsibilities include collecting and preparing data from various sources, maintaining databases, and collaborating with different functional teams to implement models and automation.
  • The Business Analyst will analyze data to uncover patterns and trends, develop hypotheses, and create custom data models and algorithms. Additionally, they will build predictive forecasting models and ensure their accuracy through monitoring. Communication of findings and actionable insights to stakeholders is a key aspect of this role.
  • Furthermore, the role supports production planning by analyzing product demand and establishing service level targets to meet sales and inventory objectives. This position is pivotal in identifying and prioritizing opportunities to leverage LoneStar's data for practical business solutions and providing strategic pricing guidance to LoneStar Americas' sales teams.
    RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Spearhead pricing strategy adjustments based on market analysis, focusing on maximizing profit margins and revenue.
  • Identifying pricing opportunities and implementing strategies and monitoring their effectiveness to ensure competitive and profitable pricing.
  • Prioritize inventory management to support Lonestar's strategic initiatives, focusing on aligning stock levels with market demand to maximize availability.
  • Implement targeted strategies to enhance stock turnover and reduce costs, leveraging detailed trend analysis.
  • Lead the development and refinement of sales forecasts, utilizing advanced analytics and market insights to accurately predict future sales trends.
  • Design and create tools that leverage data analytics to equip the sales force and management with actionable insights.
  • Focus on designing systems that enhance understanding of customer behavior, market trends, and sales performance metrics.
  • Enable the sales team to make informed decisions by equipping them with comprehensive knowledge derived from datadriven tools.
  • Tailor strategies based on market demands identified through analytical insights and ultimately drive sales effectiveness and revenue growth.
  • Partner with IT teams to ensure these tools are accessible, userfriendly, and integrated seamlessly into existing workflows.
  • Leads through curiosity and continuous improvements.
  • Perform additional duties as requested

SKILLLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems or a related field
  • Seeking 12 years of relevant experience; ideally 2 to 4 years of related experience.
  • Excellent team player with the ability to work independently.
  • A drive to learn new techniques and technologies as needed to achieve business goals.
  • Technical expertise in data modeling, database design and development, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
  • Strong analytical aptitude with a keen focus on collecting, organizing, analyzing, and presenting information accurately.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of effectively reporting and presenting findings.
  • Handson experience querying databases and using statistical programming languages such as R, Python, and SQL.
  • Technical proficiency in Data Visualization Tools including Domo, Tableau, and PowerBI.
