    GENERAL FUNCTION:
    Responsible for organizing and overseeing the efficient and smooth operation of all aspects of weekly Bingo games and ensures a high standard of customer service. The following is a list of the main duties and responsibilities. However, other duties may be assigned as deemed necessary. All duties must be performed in accordance with local, State, Federal, and other applicable requirements, as well as the organization's internal controls, policies and procedures.

    Responsibilities:

    · Ensures that none of your family members participate in Bingo games in any capacity

    · Maintains a thorough knowledge and compliance with internal bingo controls processes and procedures

    · Manages inventory control; summit supply orders to bingo distributor in a timely manner

    · Oversees setup and clean-up of bingo hall, including communication with custodial service when needed

    · Ensures that a clean, safe and organized environment is maintained in the Bingo game area in compliance with Bingo safety standards (ex. access to Bingo area and designated entry/exits)

    · Maintains a consistent, regular attendance record for each Bingo game

    · In collaboration with the BYA Operations Manager and the BYA Culinary Staff, ensures that coffee and tea supplies are ordered and that the Snack Bar will be open for food service.

    · Plans and executes special events for holiday games

    · Determines and communicates specials, door prizes, giveaways, and other incentives to recruit Bingo players

    Resource Management

    · Plans and prepares for weekly games including paper and flash tabs

    · Approves jackpots and payouts and ensures that all appropriate forms are completed

    · Reconciles cash and credit at the end of each game

    · With BYA Finance and Accounting staff, maintains the operating budget for the Bingo Program and manages operations within the approved budget

    · Resolves customer complaints regarding problems

    Leadership & Supervision

    · Schedules and monitors BYA Bingo staff/volunteers to ensure that bingo games are adequately staffed for each shift, arranging for staff breaks and substitute staff as necessary

    · Develops Bingo staff performance standards

    · Monitors and evaluates performance of all Bingo Team Member, directs work, provides consistent feedback, and enforces performance standards

    · Recruits and manages Bingo volunteers

    · Engages respectfully with Bingo customers, the general public, vendors, and staff

    Minimum Required Qualifications:

    · Minimum of two years direct experience in Bingo Operation/Gaming field

    · Minimum of two years of supervisory experience

    · Ability to operate bingo machines and call bingo games

    · Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage respectfully with players, the general public, and staff

    · Must be able to pass a criminal background check

    · First aid / CPR certification will be provided

    · LANGUAGE SKILLS - the ability to read and interpret documents such as Bingo and Safety rules, and operating & procedure manuals; the ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

    · MATHEMATICAL SKILLS - the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimal, and work with mathematical such as probability and statistical inference.

    · REASONING ABILITY – the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.

    · PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS – the ability to stand and walk through floor isles as well as the ability to lift and move heavy items in the range of 5-15 lbs. You will be regularly required to stand, walk, sit, climb or balance, kneel, crouch, and use hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls.

    Minimum Preferred Qualifications:

    · Progressive supervisory experience, and specifically, previous Bingo Manager experience

    · Knowledge of California Bingo Laws and Gaming Rules
