    $115,000 - $135, % Annual Bonus + Benefits

    AR & AP (NetSuite Exp. Req.) Description
    Our client in the professional service industry is looking for an
    Accounting Manager:
    AR & AP to add to their team in Stamford, CT. This is an on-site position with the flexibility to work from home one day per week.

    In this hands-on role, you will streamline department processes and oversee 4 team members responsible for day-to-day accounts receivable & accounts payable functions.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, process improvement, team leadership and will have in-depth experience with Accounts Receivable.

    To be successful, you must be a strong communicator and self-starter who can work independently in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

    Accounting Manager:
    AR & AP (NetSuite Exp. Req.) Responsibilities


    Oversee the accounts receivable, credit, and collections process for all customer accounts


    Oversee accounts payable and vendor payment process


    Provide team member coaching, guidance, and career development


    Identify delinquent accounts and update leadership on collection efforts


    Serve as an escalation point and work with project managers and clients on collections issues


    Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs


    Regular reconciliation of accounts payable general ledger accounts


    Support month-end close and reporting initiatives


    Complete ad hoc analysis as necessary


    Identify opportunities for automation


    Perform account maintenance as necessary

    Accounting Manager:
    AR & AP (NetSuite Exp. Req.) Qualifications


    Bachelor's degree is required


    5+ years of accounting experience that includes

    AR & AP

    is required


    Managerial and team development experience is required


    Experience using

    NetSuite

    is required


    Advanced Excel

    skills, including formatting, formulas (ex:
    VLOOKUP) & pivot tables are required


    Ability to work on-site 4 days per week is required
