WHAT DOES A WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE, LOOK LIKE AT EverGRO?

Your next career will be highlighted by taking the lead to:

Provide customers with friendly & helpful service during their experience at the Coop by safely assisting with pick-ups, staging products for deliveries, loading/unloading of products utilizing forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
Fill propane tanks
Complete timely & accurate inventory counts
Stage & organize materials in the warehouse
Cross-train with retail store team learning the point-of-sale equipment to help with customer transactions
Help maintain a professional and clean appearance of the store & warehouse
Hours may vary between 20-30hrs per week depending on store needs

WHAT CAN I EXPECT?

This position will work within both an indoor warehouse setting, but will also be responsible for working outdoors at times to assist with customer needs on deliveries, pick-ups, etc.

For this role, we are looking for talent that can bring to the table the following.

No minimum education requirement or years of professional experience
Must be at least 18 years of age
Valid Driver's License
Able and willing to work Saturdays when scheduled; prefer closing shifts (Mon-Fri, 2pm-6:15pm)
Prefer six (6) months of experience in a warehouse environment operating a forklift and helping move and stage palletized materials, assisting with customer pick-ups and deliveries, complete inventory counts, etc.
Able and willing to fill propane tanks, following on-the-job training
Forklift Certification or the willingness and ability to obtain the certification through on-the-job training
A passion and enthusiasm to work with our cooperative customers to help improve and overcome any challenges related to their needs
The ability to focus and work safely in all aspects of the job
Effective communication skills both oral and written
A knack for relationship building and problem-solving
A desire to learn, grow and work as a cross-functional team member with other divisions within EverGRO
