    Job DescriptionInfraHire is looking for an Estimator position in Winchester, VA.Job Description:The Estimator will report to the Senior Estimator and will handle daily responsibilities, including generating precise estimates for projects, examining project specifications and drawings, and coordinating with project teams.Responsibilities:
    • Generate material takeoffs and cost estimates to ascertain accurate quantities and pricing.
    • Prepare proposals and deliver them to clients/customers promptly and accurately.
    • Collaborate with manufacturers, sales agents, clients, and customers throughout the design, budgeting, and bidding phases in a professional manner.
    • Obtain purchase orders and facilitate the transition of projects to project management, engineering, and finance departments within two weeks of the purchase order date.
    • Respond to estimating requests promptly and ensure daily updates of company CRM software.
    Qualifications:
    • A Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 2+ years of construction estimating experience are preferred, although individuals with relevant industry experience or a related field will also be considered.
    • Candidates must possess strong attention to detail while maintaining an ability to grasp the broader context and meet deadlines.
    • A comprehensive understanding of reading, comprehending, and navigating construction documents is essential.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook is required, along with expertise in PDF reader software (preferably BlueBeam).
    • Experience with material takeoff software (e.g., PlanSwift, OnScreen) is preferred, along with the ability to perform detailed material takeoffs efficiently.
