- Assist attorney in reviewing case material, analyzing, and preparing digests of decisions
- Evaluate new cases, determine probable cause, and plan approaches to obtain necessary information
- Investigate facts, laws, and prepare cases using legal research tools
- Support pretrial preparations and document preparations for legal proceedings
- Organize files, manage documents, and assist attorneys in various legal tasks
- Provide training and other duties as assigned
- Paralegal Certificate or equivalent experience, preferably with legal assistance experience
- Experience in automated litigation support and knowledge of federal case prosecution
- Knowledge of forfeiture law, legal research, and excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other software applications
- Strong organizational, prioritization skills, and ability to work under pressure
