    Description

    Position Overview:

    An industry leading multi-disciplined engineering firm, who offer a variety of technical solutions to the built environment, in order to aid the growth of their existing structures group are looking for a Texas Office Director. They are an incredibly well-rounded firm, and are renowned for the quality of work that they deliver on some of the most high-end and technically challenging projects in the market.

    About the Company:

    • The average tenure of employees is 10 years which is a testament to the culture they've built across the years.
    • Due to their quality work, they known to be market specialists in their field and as a result have many repeat clients.
    • In the next few months they are looking for someone to grow their Texas office Meaning plenty of opportunity to lead teams, BD and grow new service lines.
    • ESOP opportunity when moving into leadership.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage a team, key clients, technical work and represent the company at industry events.
    • Develop and prioritize repair alternatives.
    • Prepare written technical reports which summarize your field observations, conclusions, recommendations, and engineer's opinion of cost.
    • Prepare repair documents including repair drawings and specifications.
    • Conduct project level review and progress with Project Managers on designated assignments.
    • Review written reports and documents on project related activity.
    • Maintain updated knowledge of building codes in local markets.
    • Present in-house seminars or related topics periodically.

    Qualifications:

    • Must have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or Architecture.
    • Minimum 10 years of experience.
    • Licensed P.E or RA in Texas.
    • Must have experience supervising complex projects to completion by directing subordinates and providing detailed direction and training.
