    Position Summary

    As Senior Accounting Analyst, you will work on site at the new Williamsburg Township factory to develop and maintain overall management of inventory control and material accounting systems while ensuring compliance with Nestl company policies and standards as well as external regulations. You will manage activities from production data coordinators and perform continuous training and development on financial systems. In this role, you will ensure data integrity and perform analysis of variance results and losses of inventory.

    The first several months of this position will require extensive travel for training purposes and team coverage at other Nestl Purina factory locations within the U.S. (primarily Eden, NC). As the Williamsburg Township facility becomes fully operational, travel is expected to subside toward the end of 2024.

    • Complete inventory compliance activities including cycle counts, assessment of critical ingredients, and verification of timely and accurate consumptions and declarations by production data coordinators
    • Perform inventory variance investigations and resolutions
    • Apply understanding of production processes and materials to capture utilization and waste data
    • Maintain production data integrity to ensure material master data accuracy and support traceability requirements
    • Manage materials accounting budget requirements and monthly closure and reporting activities
    • Coordinate, audit and advise on all physical inventory procedures in each respective area to ensure accurate and timely completion per the division standard
    • Lead, empower and develop production data team members through coaching, mentoring, training, evaluation and recognition
    • Utilize Microsoft Office products and enterprise resource planning software to perform daily accounting functions
    Requirements
    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field
    • 2+ years of experience in general accounting, cost accounting and/or inventory control in a manufacturing, industrial, military or related environment
    The approximate pay range for this position is $71,000 - $98,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.
