Description
Duties:
- Under general supervision, performs routine and recurring assignments in the delivery of Information Technology customer support services.
- Participates in the planning and delivery of a full range of Information Technology customer support services to the organization. Identifies and resolves issues and problems. Prepares and updates manuals. instructions, and operating procedures.
- Provides information and assistance to customers including system hardware/software installations, configuration, upgrades and troubleshooting.
- Evaluates established methods and procedures and prepares recommendations for changes in methods and practices where appropriate.
- Presents formal and informal training to customers. Reports, responds to and resolves customer requests. Applies information security and information assurance policy, principles and practices.

Qualifications:
Standard Qualifications:
Work, experience, education, and/or specialized intensive training sufficient to demonstrate IT knowledge and skill in:
- Participating in the planning and and/or delivery of a full intensive range of IT support services;
- Installing, configuring, upgrading and trouble shooting hardware and software components;
- Presenting formal and informal training and assistance to customers;
- Reporting, responding to, and resolving customer requests.
Highly Qualified:
- Possess one (1) year of professional database administration experience.
- Possess one (1) year of professional experience using and maintaining point of sales systems.

PCS Costs
- Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs may be authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is in the Government's interest.
Pay-Band (NF or CY) Allowances and Differential
- This is a paybanded position.
- Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.
_If authorized, only regular (fulltime, parttime, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay._ When authorized, Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of nonovertime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday). Non-Foreign Overseas Allowances
