- Developing comprehensive project plans with timelines, resource allocation, and key milestones.
- Overseeing project execution to ensure on-time, in-scope, and within-budget completion.
- Coordinating effectively with, but not limited to: engineering, design, marketing, finance, and customer support teams to deliver projects seamlessly; acting as a central point of contact and ensuring clear communication and alignment among all stakeholders.
- Monitoring project progress and developing risk mitigation strategies as necessary to address emerging issues and keep projects on track.
- Conduct regular reviews and quality checks throughout project life cycles to ensure projects meet SimpliSafe's high-quality standards and exceed customer requirements.
- Strategically managing project resources, including personnel and budget, to optimize team productivity and achieve project goals.
- Providing regular updates and reports to stakeholders, including leadership.
- Gathering feedback and effectively communicating any changes in project scope or direction.
- Maintaining comprehensive project documentation and preparing and presenting clear and concise reports to stakeholders and leadership.
- Motivating and guiding project team members to achieve project objectives; Providing mentorship and support to cultivate a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Conducting post-project evaluations to assess performance and identify areas for improvement and implementing lessons learned to optimize future projects.
- Bachelor's degree in project management, business administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in project management, preferably within the security industry.
- Proven ability to develop and execute project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budgets.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work independently.
- 2+ years of experience with home security systems and or the broader security industry
- Experience using Sprinklr, a customer interaction management tool, or similar platforms.
- Experience with project management software (e.g., Asana, Jira).
- Six Sigma/Lean Certification/Knowledge
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
