    Job Description: Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for the 2024/2025 school year in York, PA. This position involves working with PreK and kindergarten-aged students, managing varying caseloads that include behavioral, emotional, and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) needs. As a School-Based RN, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health and well-being of students, providing necessary medical care, and collaborating with educators and parents to support each student's success.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide direct nursing care to PreK and kindergarten-aged students.
    • Develop and implement individualized healthcare plans for students with medical needs.
    • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
    • Monitor and manage chronic health conditions and emergency situations.
    • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student health and well-being.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date health records for students.
    • Provide health education and promotion to students, staff, and parents.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of health policies and procedures.

    Educational and Licensing Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution preferred.
    • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Pennsylvania.
    • Certification in CPR and First Aid.
    • At least one year of recent experience in the field of nursing, preferably in a school or pediatric setting.

    Qualifications:

    • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of pediatric nursing.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively with students, parents, teachers, and other professionals.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Commitment to providing high-quality, student-centered care.
