**FACET Training and Support Specialist**
Professional Services Honolulu, Hawaii Minimum Experience **Experienced** Premier Solutions HI, LLC. is looking for a new FACET Training and Support Specialist in the Honolulu Area. They will help Navy users successfully insert the FACET system into their daily processes, troubleshoot FACET/system issues, and ensure that all documents get into the ashore repository for backup and audit. The Facet Training and Support Specialist must work with everyone involved to ensure that all systems are working efficiently and correctly. This is a remote position, and the successful applicant will be self-driven to provide excellent customer service to the Navy without daily supervision.
Duties and Responsibilities
The job duties and responsibilities of the FACET Training and Support Specialist include, but are not limited to, the following:
Technical tasks, including building scripts for software installations, updating installation procedures, testing, building/maintaining ghost images, and networking tasks
Troubleshooting issues on PCs, including working with the registry, libraries, and user/application permissions
Providing e-mail and phone support.
Be available from on weekdays to take support calls or work with clients
Visiting sites to perform maintenance and support, and obtaining visit sign-off documentation
Training users on all aspects of FACET and FIAR in both over-the-shoulder and classroom environments
Providing professional demos and briefs on the FACET system for a variety of audiences including executives
Updating the support database on a daily basis
Being self-managed and driven to get the job done with little to no supervision
Being able to communicate professionally, concisely and effectively, both verbally and in writing
Maintaining a professional physical and telephone presence at all times to mirror Alakai professional values
Other duties, as assigned
Minimum Requirements
A bachelor's degree in information technology or related field or equivalent work experience.
IAT Level I or similar level certification, A+ CE or Security+ CE preferred
Technical skills in Windows, OS, Server, and Networking
S. Citizen and hold a DoD Clearance
Have a valid/current drivers license and U.S. Passport.
Be able to travel domestically and internationally as needed for 1-2 weeks at a time.
Demonstrated training and customer service experience in the IT field
Able to lift a 40 pound box.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge, & Abilities
Prior Navy S1, S2, S6 or S8 (CS / LS) experience preferred with experience in the Logistics field.
Experience with ATO and RMF is a plus
Ability to work independently and as a member or leader of a team with minimal supervision
