    Job Description

    The Technical Support Specialist is in charge of providing daily operational assistance for computer software, hardware, peripherals, troubleshooting, installation, and technology maintenance.

    ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Install and test computer hardware and software, such as laptops, desktops, printers, monitors, and application software
  • Address technical support queries and problem calls, identifying and resolving issues
  • Support departments with mobile technology, including iPhones and iPads
  • Determine integration and implementation of new projects and analyze equipment requirements
  • Perform root cause analysis and suggest enhancements to PCs and related technology
  • Ensure technology adherence to engineering standards and service levels
  • Act as a point of escalation for technology matters and liaise between end-users, business units, and vendors
  • Contribute to overall technology planning, implementation, and support
  • Support management in issue resolution and adhere to IT security protocols
  • Maintain equipment inventory, assist in procurement, and support IT projects as needed
  • Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of technical support or related experience
  • Excellent customer service skills with strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Capacity to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Effective problem-solving and analytical skills
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Preferred qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Microsoft Certified System Engineer
  • A+ Certification
