Description
SAIC is seeking anAcquisition Sr. Manager
to serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in the development of cybersecurity best practices.
You will play a crucial role in providing recommendations for resiliency and availability of DoD software systems pertaining to space, best practices for securing supply chain, and enabling effective processes and procedures to protect the nations space programs.
This position is based inEl Segundo, CA,
and focuses on supporting the Horizon program within the Space C2 Program Management Office.
As part of this role, you will be collaborating closely with the Space Systems Command's (SSC) Battle Management Command, Control & Communications (BMC3) Program Executive Office.
Your primary responsibilities will involve contributing to the development, deployment, modernization, and expansion efforts of the Space C2 program.The position requires you having an in-depth experience with DoD program acquisition processes and documentation. You will interact and coordinate daily with numerous stakeholders (Program Managers, Contracting Officers, System Engineers, and external/partner organizations).
Typical job responsibilities Include:
Provide expert advice to the Program Manager and Senior Space Force Leadership regarding acquisition strategies, contracting, budgeting, and execution
Develop/coordinate acquisition planning briefings and documents (AoA, ASP, ASD, J&A, etc.)
Develop/coordinate solicitation planning and execution documents (RFP (SOW, CDRLs, Incentive Plans, etc.), Source Selection Strategy, etc.)
Develop/coordinate overarching program planning and execution documents as prescribed by/tailored from DoDI , and relevant DoD, AF, and SSC policies
Draft technical evaluations and function as an advisor in source selections
Provide technical and programmatic assessments of contractor designs and milestone reviews to assess progress, risks and issues, and the ability to achieve mission requirements
Manage multiple direct reports
Responsible for reviewing and approving timesheets, expense reports, etc
Oversee contract scope, performance and is the primary customer interface to ensure requirements are met
Recommends and executes merit increases for direct reports
Responsible for coordination with enterprise offices on matters related to finance, compliance, human resources, etc.
Qualifications
This is you:
BS Degree and 18+ years of related experience, or Masters Degree with 16+ years of related experience, or PhD with 13+ years of related experience.
Must be able to interface with all levels of functional/division acquisition offices to accomplish projects for the government program office
Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with willingness to consent to a polygraph examination.
Target salary range:
$200,001 - $225,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.
Covid Policy:
SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
