    Description

    This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Credit and Collections Manager to join a stable growing manufacturing and services company in Central San Antonio. You will join a group of tenured and fun employees that are working together to help take this company from a well known Texas company to a national business. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the credit and collections processes to ensure timely payment of invoices and minimize bad debt losses.

    Responsibilities of the Credit & Collections Manager

    • Create a process for collections in the way you best see fit
    • Receive and post payment to customers account
    • Keep records and status of customers account
    • Set payment collection goals and targets for the department.
    • Create and implement a strategy to improve the collection of outstanding credit.
    • Monitor and report on accounts receivable aging and bad debt reserves, help get DSO down from 60-70 days to 45-50 days
    Preferred Qualifications Of The Credit & Collections Manager
    • Proven experience in Credit & Collections
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Upbeat personality, drive, and motivation (self motivated)
    • Sage 100 is a plus
    • Excel skills, pivot tables, vlookups, etc.
