The Americas Operations organization is a part of the Finance & Operations organization in our head region Americas, based in Chelmsford, Massachusetts. The organization plays a crucial role in Axis continuous effort to stay close to our customers and channel always delivering superior customer experience. Americas Operations consists of three sub functions: Demand Planning, Distribution Order Management & Logistics and Distribution Operations
The Americas Operation team works closely with other teams located in the The Americas and the Global Operations team: based in Lund, Sweden. Being able to successfully collaborate across organizational and cultural borders will be important to succeed in this role.
Teamwork and cross functional collaboration are essential for our success, and we are looking for a driven team player that enjoy and excel at developing and maintaining relationships with customers and other stakeholders. You also thrive in an environment where you plan your own activities, drive initiatives and takes responsibility for the result.
The Transportation Analyst will oversee logistics processes, develop and maintain SOPs, manage relationships with freight carriers, and monitor costs related to all shipments in The Americas.
**What you'll do here as a Transportation Analyst...**
+ Ensure logistics compliance, both domestic and international, for The Americas includes US, Canada, and LatAm.
+ Oversee logistics processes with our Configurations Logistics Centres
+ Manage freight carrier and transportation partner relationships
+ Support management with logistics expertise in contract negotiations
+ Coordinate and document import and export logistics processes
+ Work closely with Export Compliance Team on both short-term and long-term initiatives
+ Continuously work on developing and monitoring KPIs and improvement measures
+ Continuously review The Americas transportation costs with goal of cost efficiency
+ Prepare and present monthly reports on logistics costs, identify areas to be addressed, and propose solutions.
+ Go to person for all questions logistics related for The Americas head region
+ Address and resolve shipment issues.
+ Answer customer queries.

+ Bachelors Degree in relevant field
+ 3-5 years global logistics and supply chain experience
+ Must be self-motivated, lead with strong work ethic, capable of taking initiative, successfully handle and prioritize multiple competing priorities, and effectively manage deadlines.
+ Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and have strong rapport with the management team and colleagues.**Physical Demands**
